Terms of Use

These conditions apply whenever the website is visited, read, or used to start a search. Continuing to use it means accepting the terms below. Anyone who does not agree should stop using the site.

NO FCRA USE. This privately operated website has no affiliation with a court or government body. Neither it nor its advertising partners provide a service for any use regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), including decisions about credit, employment, housing, or insurance. Its purpose is to direct readers to Dallas County, Alabama docket and case-record resources. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site, independent of every court and public office. It does not keep official files, retrieve a docket for a visitor, alter a setting, or submit a court filing.

Its pages identify the Dallas County Circuit Clerk, the trial courts, official Alabama access systems, and outside tools that may assist with public case research.

2. Informational Use Only

All content is general information. Explanations of Dallas County dockets do not replace the official record, a judge's order, or advice from counsel. Important facts must be confirmed with the Dallas County Circuit Clerk or the court holding the case.

3. Rules for Using This Site

Use is conditioned on avoiding all of the following conduct:

  • Violating any applicable local, state, or federal law
  • Harassing, threatening, or stalking another person with information found here
  • Using site content for an FCRA-regulated decision
  • Attempting unauthorized access to a system or account
  • Running automated scraping, bots, or collection tools against the pages
  • Interfering with site availability or another visitor's access

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and creates no credit report, background check, or consumer report. Its content and linked tools are not offered for eligibility or screening decisions. A user must not rely on them to:

  • Make an employment decision
  • Evaluate a rental or housing application
  • Assess credit or insurance eligibility
  • Determine access to a license, permit, or public benefit
  • Carry out any other FCRA-regulated purpose

A legally compliant consumer reporting provider must be used when a regulated report is required.

5. No Legal Advice

Nothing here is legal advice. General Dallas County docket information cannot determine how a charge, order, case, or deadline affects someone. A licensed Alabama attorney can address those questions.

6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

Content and services are supplied "as is," without a promise that:

  • Information is always complete, correct, or current
  • Service will remain continuous or uninterrupted
  • Every page is free of faults or security weaknesses
  • A partner result will be accurate or comprehensive

New filings, resets, seals, dismissals, and amendments continually change court dockets. Gaps can occur, and no statement here is an official representation by a clerk or court. Confirm each important entry or setting with the record holder.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links lead to clerks, courts, statewide systems, legal-aid organizations, and outside search services. Those destinations are independently controlled. We are not responsible for their availability, content, pricing, or data practices, and their own terms should be reviewed.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Dallas County Court Docket or its content partners. They may not be copied, changed, distributed, or adapted without prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we accept no liability for loss arising from site use or from action taken on information supplied here or by a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against a claim or demand resulting from your use of the site or violation of these terms, including related costs and legal fees.

11. Governing Law

Alabama law governs these terms. Any dispute arising from use of the site must be brought in a court located in Alabama.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised. A new version takes effect when it is posted to this page.
